Peppers Convent

Located in the midst of the vineyards, Peppers Convent is a delightfully different guesthouse style hotel in Pokolbin. Carefully converted from what was once a convent, the two-storey timber building has a French Baroque flavour with French doors opening onto deep verandahs. Peppers Convent was once home to the Brigidine order of Nuns in Coonamble (600kms west from the Hunter) and the entire building was moved to the Hunter Valley, where it was carefully reconstructed amidst vineyards and landscaped gardens.

Peppers Convent is located at the Pepper Tree Complex, a short stroll from the Pepper Tree Winery and Tasting Barn, and the renowned Roberts Restaurant.

This Hunter Valley accommodation is a small guesthouse with only 17 Rooms, offering guests that personal touch only a smaller guesthouse can provide. Roberts Restaurant: Located only a short stroll from Peppers Convent is the renowned and highly awarded, Robert's Restaurant. Encompassing the 1878 National Trust listed Pepper Tree Cottage, Robert's has been described as the Hunter Valley's most beautiful dining room. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
