Eaglereach Wilderness Resort

Eaglereach Wilderness Resort is a unique 4.5 star Hunter Valley accommodation property perched on a mountaintop in the Hunter region approximately two and a half hours drive from Sydney.

Set in four square kilometres of natural bushland, it abounds with native animals and birds including kangaroos and wallabies. The resort was named for the massive Wedgetail Eagles which frequent the area along with colourful parrots and rosellas. Eaglereach offers world-class accommodation in a superb natural setting.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of activities including escorted walking tours, bush and rainforest trails, freshwater fishing and swimming in the resort's saltwater pool or nearby lagoon. Eaglereach Wilderness Resort also offers tennis, volleyball, mountain bike riding and self drive discovery buggies to explore the countryside. Full and half days tours can be arranged to the Hunter Valley vineyards, the beautiful Barrington Tops National Park and the coastal watersport haven of Port Stephens.

Accommodation

Eaglereach Wilderness Resort offers a variety of accommodation types suitable for romantic escapes, group trips away with friends or time spent with a the family on an outdoor adventure. Each lodge is unique and individual, layouts will differ - floorplans are a sample only.

Jindalee Rooms: Are located in the Jindalee Complex which consists of 6 rooms all with private ensuites. Each room has a TV, DVD player, mini-bar, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities and linen and towels are provided. The complex has a communal lounge area with slow combustion fireplace, pool table and 10 person outdoor spa. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 adults. This room does not allow children.

One Bedroom Spa Lodge: Private one bedroom lodges suitable for couples. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 adults. [floorplan]

2 Bedroom Spa Lodge: Available as Group Lodge or Family Lodge. Group Lodge has separate ensuite per bedroom. Family Lodge has 1 bathroom. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed & 2 Single Beds OR 2 Queen Beds OR 4 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children. [floorplan]

3 Bedroom Spa Lodge: Available as Group Lodge or Family Lodge. Group Lodge has separate ensuite per bedroom. Family Lodge has more bedrooms than bathrooms. Bedding is any combination of Queen and Single beds. Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults & Children.

4 Bedroom Spa Lodge: Available as Group Lodge or Family Lodge. Group Lodge has separate ensuite per bedroom. Family Lodge has more bedrooms than bathrooms. Bedding is any combination of Queen and Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 8 Adults & Children.

Dining

Treehops Restaurant: Is set amongst the treetops, and offers a la carte dining every evening. The menu is modern Australian cuisine along with a selection of traditional country favourites. Treehops menu changes seasonally as the freshest of local Hunter produce is used. Log fire in Winter.

Yackatoon Bar: Is open every evening and in winter it features a roaring wood fire, and cool mountain breezes in summer. Guests can choose from the selection of Hunter Valley wines, sit back with a beer or enjoy a coffee.

Observatory Deck: Is located at canopy level, with majestic views to the Eastern seaboard and alive with native animals and bird life. The Observatory Deck is open for light lunches and brunch all weekend.

BBQ Pack and Picnic Hampers: Eaglereach Wilderness Lodge can also arrange a gourmet picnic hamper or BBQ pack to prepare at your own lodge. All lodges are equipped with a BBQ. 24 hours notice is required.

Lodge Provisioning: Lodges can be supplied with provisions prior to arrival. 48 hours notice required.
