Tower Lodge

The Tower Lodge is located on the Tower Estate at Pokolbin and described as the ultimate retreat for discerning guests and has been designed to offer the definitive getaway. The main building of this Hunter Valley accommodation consists of a reception and lobby area, grand dining room and bar/lounge room. The furnishings and style of Tower Lodge are unique, individual and luxurious all at the same time.

As you would expect in an exclusive house or chateau, all 12 rooms at the Tower Lodge are furnished with antiques, treasures and collectables, rich fabrics and recycled old timbers. Some rooms have wood burning fireplaces, one an outdoor plunge tub and others offer a private courtyard, a fountain, a balcony or a unique feature - every room has its own charm.

Tower Lodge was born by Len Evans, Hunter Valley icon and prominent business friends. Together with a winery and two restaurants, Tower Lodge makes up the Tower Estate. Guests can visit the nearby Tower Estate winery, one of the hunter's newest working boutique wineries. Tastings are available from 10.00am to 5.00pm daily. The renowned Robert's Restaurant and Blaxlands Restaurant also make up part of the Tower Estate.

For energetic guests Tower Lodge has an 18 hole golf putting course, an outdoor heated lap pool and 1.6 kilometre walking track. Or you can simply relax in the cozy library located next to the dining room.

Accommodation

All rooms at the Tower Lodge feature a large bathroom with separate shower and a deep double-spa bath. The Oriental room also boasts a romantic wooden hot tub recessed into a private verandah

The Chairman's Suite is a freestanding building complete with its own Tower. In addition to the furnishings and amenities of the Lodge rooms, this room features a hand carved Rajasthani king bed, an opulent sitting area with Louis XVI writing desk and chair and a marble bathroom with a deep soaking, elevated spa bath and separate shower.

Dining

Breakfast is served in the Lodge dining room; the dining room has views to the Brokenback Range. The Lodge guest lounge and bar is open continuously serving the wines of Tower Estate plus aged Hunter wines, imported champagnes and malt whiskies and cognacs.

Roberts at Peppertree and Blaxlands Restaurant are connected to the Tower Lodge by a walking track. Both restaurants offer the finest cuisine that can be found in the Hunter Valley.
